Platform.sh is a cloud platform where developers can use it to develop, test, deploy and manage applications in the cloud and save 30% of time on the development of a website and 50% on its maintenance. Adobe, Nestlé, etc already use the platform and their first market is the US, then Northern Europe.

2 | Scintil Photonics raises €13.5M to focus on optical interconnects

💡To accelerate the industrialization and global commercialisation of its silicon-based photonic circuits for optical interconnects.
💰€13.5M raises from Robert Bosch Venture Capital with participation from shareholders (Innovacom, Supernova Invest and Bpifrance).

Scintil Photonics is a fabless company developing and supplying silicon photonic integrated circuits with monolithically integrated lasers and optical amplifiers.

3 | From funding seed-stage to being able to go for Series A stage, Breega closes €250M fund to back Spanish startups

💡To back at least 20 fintech or insurtech companies raising capital at Series A stage and above levels and to open a Barcelona office.
💰Backed by European Investment Fund, Bpifrance, Group Crédit Agricole, Amundi, LCL, Isomer Capital and European entrepreneurs.

Breega is a VC firm that invests on pre-seed to Series A stage with a ticket from €500K to €15M. They have backed over 70 companies across 7 countries with 9 exits and currently count €500M in assets under management.

4 | EuraTechnologies raises €24M to accelerate key transformative initiatives

🤩 Cybersecurity/Agrotech/Proptech/Deeptech - Incubator
💡To secure +3000 jobs, to invest €10M in state-of-the-art technological equipment and to open 10 incubators in Eastern European technology universities and emerging digital ecosystems.
💰€24M raised through the Mulliez Family Association and Entreprises & Cités that join EuraTechnologies’ existing shareholders.

EuraTechnologies is an incubator and accelerator that supports the development of all digital entrepreneurs thanks to a unique methodology, from early-stage to their international deployment.

5 | $31M for Strapi (Series B) for their open source CMS platform

💡To launch Strapi Cloud, to bring in additional tech and solution partners and to further develop the Strapi project.
💰Operation led by CRV with participation from Flex Capital, Index Ventures and angel investors such as Nat Friedman (GitHub former CEO), Matt Billmann Christensen (Netlify CEO), etc.

Strapi is an open source headless CMS platform that provides backend functionality for applications and gives developers the tools of their choice for front-end frameworks. The platform has 450 customers including AT&T, eBay, etc.
